Grand Junction are proud to announce the successful launch of an exciting new schools project called “Wonderful Words,” which aims to engage and support primary-aged children with their learning and enjoyment of vocabulary using drama.
Paul Andrew (pictured), who some of you may recognise as our Junction Juniors drama facilitator, is now delivering weekly Wonderful Words sessions at three of our local primary schools. Generously funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, this two-year project encourages the participating 5–7-year-olds to learn, express and use new and sometimes challenging vocabulary (such as CHILDHOOD, CULTURE and DISCOVER) in a fun and creative way!
The Wonderful Words team will keep you posted about future family events planned in the new year aimed to celebrate vocabulary and the achievements of our Wonderful Words Ambassadors.
