Hosting a party or special celebration? Grand Junction at St Mary Magdalene is one of the most stunning party venues in central London.

Impress your guests in our newly restored Victorian Gothic Revival church, ceiling and stained glass windows, striking interior and first-class catering. We are dedicated to creating memorable and stylish personal events and can help you create the perfect celebration. Conveniently located near Paddington Station, Grand Junction is available for exclusive private hire, ideal for milestone celebrations such as:

Our West London venue offers tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of the city, overlooking the beautiful Grand Union Canal.

Grand Junction is ideal for both dinner and drinks parties, with two unique spaces to hire.

The Nave makes a powerful backdrop for larger celebrations. For dinner parties, up to 250 guests can be seated on round tables with room for dancing, live music and bars.

Alternatively the Undercroft is perfect for a more intimate, candle-lit setting for a Private Dinner or Canape Reception. Up to 110 guests can be seated for a banquet or dinner on round tables, or up to, with 185 for standing buffet.

Our Grand Piano, located in the Nave, can be used to set the tone for a perfect evening. Or hire our in-house PA to play your own background music.

We have teamed up with Bovingdons to offer a selection of dining and drinks packages through their bespoke service at Grand Junction Events designed to take the stress out of planning. Alternatively, you can dry-hire any of our spaces and choose from our selection of Approved Suppliers who can help you create the perfect party, from caterers and florists, lighting and sound technicians, through to photographers and musicians, making our party venue extra special.

Our dedicated team can assist you with everything from site visit, administration and pre-planning, through to on-site management of the event itself so you can relax and enjoy your celebration.

Evening and Daytime hire is available every day except Sunday.

The main space is the Nave of St Mary Magdalene Church and is perfect for concerts, comedy, spoken word, dance events, filming and photo-shoots.

UNDERCROFT

The Undercroft is the atmospheric crypt of St Mary Magdalene Church and is perfect for small concerts, comedy, spoken word, book launches, exhibitions, interviews, receptions, filming and photo-shoots.

The Undercroft offers seating for up to 100 guests. The space has restricted sightlines due to the pillars but with creative staging and lighting is transformed in one of the most unique performance spaces in London.

The Undercroft is the home of our Bar open during concerts and performances. Doors open from 6pm but please check our listings to confirm timings.

Be enchanted by our spectacular venue and award‑winning catering

Our meeting rooms are available for hire from 9:30am to 5pm Monday – Friday. Access from 9.00am, typically the room must be completely cleared by 5:30pm.

Spaces are available for evening hire and performances from 6pm to 11pm.

Catering is available from our in-house caterers.

All our spaces and facilities are wheelchair accessible via our lift in the modern annex. Please inform us in advance if you have special requirements.
