“Taking the traditional ceilidh as its starting point, but ripping up the rule book, souping up the music and subverting the dance moves. No experience is necessary”

The Ceilidh Liberation Front is London’s most radical & colourful live band, subverting the lore of Ceilidh with their energetic folk dance regime. They breathe vigour and vitality into the traditional ceilidh, whilst honouring its roots and traditions.

Open to dancers of all abilities (no experience necessary!)

All are welcome at this event – groups, pairs or solo bookings.

Our audiences say:

“Lovely people, great calling and choice of dances, friendly (and good value) bar, excellent band” – 2022 attendee

“Highlight was all of the dancing, but particularly stripping the willow with the lights on seeing all of those wonderful smiles! Also how much my face hurt from smiling all evening!!!” – 2022 attendee

“I was so happy to be amongst so many great people enjoying life in an amazing venue with a soundtrack to match. This event has given me such a personal lift so thank you so much!” – 2022 attendee
