Grand Junction is a magnificent space for special events. We are proud to say that our venue will take your breath away, with an ornate ceiling and rows of stained glass windows we seat up to 350 in the main Nave or 110 in our atmospheric Undercroft. All the income generated from hiring the venue and from sales in the Undercroft Bar goes to the on-going conservation and development of our building.
Grand Junction offers two affordable, high-quality, performance spaces for hire in our stunning High Gothic Victorian Nave or the atmospheric Undercroft, supporting a diverse programme of arts experiences and innovative entertainment.
We have in-house staging and professional partnerships with production suppliers, or we can clear the space and hand it over to your team to fully produce your event.
Our busy Undercroft Bar is open at most events serving craft beer, soft drinks and organic wine. And all the money raised goes toward our community programmes and the restoration of the building.
The main space is the Nave of St Mary Magdalene Church and is perfect for concerts, comedy, spoken word, dance events, filming and photo-shoots.
The Nave offers staging and seating for up to 350 guests. All seats have excellent sightline to the stage. Staging is flexible and can be moved according to your requirements. The church is a Grade 1* historic landmark, a working church and a centre for the local community. As such we have to monitor our sound pressure limit and have a 10.30pm performance curfew.

UNDERCROFT
The Undercroft is the atmospheric crypt of St Mary Magdalene Church and is perfect for small concerts, comedy, spoken word, book launches, exhibitions, interviews, receptions, filming and photo-shoots.
The Undercroft offers seating for up to 100 guests. The space has restricted sightlines due to the pillars but with creative staging and lighting is transformed in one of the most unique performance spaces in London.
The Undercroft is the home of our Bar open during concerts and performances. Doors open from 6pm but please check our listings to confirm timings.
The church is a Grade 1* listed historic landmark, a working church and a centre for the local community. As such we have to monitor our sound pressure limit and have an 11pm performance curfew.

Hire one of our two modern and bright rooms in the contemporary, award-winning annex.
STUDIO
A modern, bright room overlooking the Grand Union Canal, the Studio is ideal for workshops, meetings, and team away days. The room has built in AV and seats up to 30 people in a Boardroom or Classroom set-up.
The Studio also serves as a Green Room for music events in the Nave
NEST
A modern, intimate room perfect for counselling, small meetings or tutoring. Seats up to 6 people.
The Nest also serves as a small dressing room for music events in the Nave or Undercroft.

Our meeting rooms are available for hire from 9:30am to 5pm Monday – Friday.
Access from 9.00am, typically the room must be completely cleared by 5:30pm.
This space is available for evening hire from 6pm to 10:30pm.
Catering is available from our in-house caterers.
All our spaces and facilities are wheelchair accessible via our lift in the modern annex. Please inform us in advance if you have special requirements.
