Looking for a unique and memorable venue to host your next event? Our stunning Grade I listed space in Paddington, is perfect for private parties, corporate events, dinners, awards ceremonies and more.

Just a short walk from Warwick Avenue, Royal Oak, and Paddington Station, our canal-side location is easy to get to.

NAVE

Capacity: 350 seated theatre style, 230 seated for dinner, 400 standing

Our largest space, the Nave is a breathtaking setting for your larger events. It’s beautifully painted ceiling and stained-glass windows provide a stunning backdrop to impress your guests. If you’re looking for a location that’s both spectacular and unique with a rich history dating back to the Victorian era, this is the space for you!

UNDERCROFT

Capacity: 100 seated, 150 standing

The Undercroft is the crypt of St Mary Magdalene Church, and is perfect for more intimate gaterings. Offering a striking space with vaulted ceilings and historic brickwork, it creates a unique atmosphere for both daytime and evening events. Tucked next door to the Undercroft is our hidden gem, the Chapel of St Sepulchre which has been a film favourite and has featured in Les Misérables and St Trinian’s to name a few.

With flexible layouts in both spaces and  a choice of  suppliers available, you can work with your event manager to tailor your event to fit your needs. Our West London venue offers tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of the city, overlooking the beautiful Grand Union Canal.

Another perk of hiring our beautiful space is that all income generated through events at Grand Junction goes back into the community and education work of the charity Paddington Development Trust, who operate the venue.

Our spaces are available for hire Monday – Saturday. Evening and weekend hires may incur a small surcharge.

All our spaces and facilities are wheelchair accessible. Please feel free to contact us to discuss any access requirements.

We have a cafe on site that is open from 9am - 4pm. If you wish to place a large order with the café for lunch or refreshments at your event please let us know in advance.
