The new year is a great time to think about goals and plans, and renew your sense of optimism in the promise of all that the year can bring! Why not try something new this January?
Among our new sessions for 2020 we have a Community Art Class kicking off every Tuesday from 10.30am. Try out drawing, painting and collage, and learn about artists along the way. Or why not try our new Yoga for Wellbeing course? Our free beginners’ sessions focus on strength, flexibility, balance and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. We’ve also got the perfect activity to make the most of your lunchtimes – join us for a free volunteer-led tour of St Mary Magdalene Church, one of the finest neo-Gothic churches in the country!
Back by popular demand we have our Tea and Textiles sessions, which return on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3pm. Have a go at using textile and craft materials to create your own piece of textile art. Or perhaps you’re looking for more calm in your life? Try out Mindfulness for Wellbeing. Learn how to breathe and move towards a mindful body and mind. Perfect if you want to feel whole again.
