Asad Rehman: From Crises to Justice: The World We Dream, We Can Win!

£3.00

Tue 16 Mar, 19:30

The War on Want’s CEO presents an urgent discussion with a panel of renowned activists.

The collision of the pandemic with the epidemics of inequality, rising fascism, and spiralling climate breakdown has brought us to a watershed moment in the defence of life and that which nurtures it.

We face complex, interconnected, and global crises. An intricate tapestry of a thousand threads of injustice. But there is also an unprecedented opportunity. Can we turn despair into hope, by acting with courage to confront systemic injustices with a vision of a better collective future for all?

In From Crises to Justice: The World We Dream, We Can Win!, War on Want’s CEO Asad Rehman will present a mini Ted Ex-style talk, followed by a panel discussion with award winning activist, poet and writer Nnimmo Bassey and writer and activist Tansy Hoskins.
