This December the award-winning folk group The Furrow Collective comes to West London with a special festive programme to celebrate the launch of their new album, We Know by the Moon

Join the award-winning English and Scottish folk group for an alternative festive candlelit concert, featuring seasonal carols, spine-tingling harmonies, and award-winning melodies, bringing warmth and joy to the cold winter months.

The group will perform songs from their highly anticipated fourth album – We Know by the Moon – set to be released on 27 November. This new record spans the seasons, linking the solstices in harmony through a suite of noctilucent laments, lunar serenades, and starlit balladry.

The talented musicians joining us include Lucy Farrell (viola, voice & saw), Emily Portman (banjo, concertina, voice), and Alasdair Roberts (guitars, voice).

The Furrow Collective

Critically acclaimed, award-winning English/Scottish folk group The Furrow Collective are heading out on tour in the UK in December 2023, in support of their fourth full-length album We Know by the Moon on Hudson Records.

Usually a quartet, they will tour as a trio due to the happy news that Rachel is expecting a baby at the end of November. Each of the group’s three previous albums has marked a distinct development of their music, whilst retaining its idiosyncratic core of resonant bowed and plucked strings anchoring sky-bound harmony singing; the fourth will mark a further expansion of this unique trademark sound.

Recorded in midsummer 2023 and due for release in winter 2023, the record will span the seasons to link the solstices in harmony, in the form of a suite of noctilucent laments, lunar serenades and starlit balladry.

The Furrow Collective tours extensively throughout the UK as well as in mainland Europe, delighting audiences with their uniquely beguiling approach to traditional song.
