Takeover the Future – Music Management Programme, delivered by ‘We are no different’.

What it will involve:

The project is an introduction into the music industry, working as a manager, organising events, understanding press and marketing, how to book artists, how to look after yourself as a freelancer and manage expectations.

This course is perfect for young people who have had some experience of music and events and are looking to deepen their knowledge and experience and venture into the music industry.

Be prepared to work hard, work as a team, be creative, problem solve and work towards a community festival with expected audience numbers of 1000.

Venue: Grand Junction is a new venue for the community, arts and culture based at St Mary Magdalene Church. Our mission is to create and present an eclectic, collaborative programme of music, arts and performance for young people, families and adults. We also have a café serving delicious food overlooking the canal.

Grand Junction advises visitors to wear masks while moving around the building. We ask all ticket-holders not to travel to Grand Junction for an event if they have either Covid-19 symptoms or a positive Covid-19 test.
