Sudanese Stories
Are you Sudanese and have a story to tell? Work with others to capture your story and those of the community.
Join our 10-week programme to connect with and explore your heritage. You will learn new creative skills to create pieces that honour the richness of Sudanese culture and experiences as part of the community, creating a powerful collection of stories to share with the wider community through digital mediums. Big or small, joyful or challenging, every story matters!
We want to create a space where Sudanese voices are heard, stories are shared, and experiences, past and present, are honoured.
No prior art or tech experience is needed – you’ll learn as you take part!

This workshop is free, but registration is required. You can register here.
Please note that this is a 10-week programme, and by signing up, we expect a commitment to attend all sessions. We understand that sometimes absences might be unavoidable, so there is some flexibility. However, we ask for a good level of attendance to ensure you get the most out of the programme.
This programme is for adults aged 18 and older. If you are 17 and would like to join, please contact Holly (email below) as this is possible but we will need permission from a parent or guardian.

هل أنت سوداني ولديك قصة تود مشاركتها؟ تواصل مع الآخرين لتوثيق قصتك وقصص أفراد المجتمع
شارك في برنامجنا الذي سيستمر لمدة 10 أسابيع لاستكشاف تراثك والتفاعل مع مجتمعك. ستتعلم مهارات إبداعية جديدة تمكنك من إنتاج أعمال فنية تعكس تنوع وغنى الثقافة السودانية وتجارب المجتمع، مما يساهم في إنشاء مجموعة قوية من القصص الرقمية لمشاركتها مع المجتمع الأوسع
سواء كانت قصتك مليئة بالفرح أو التحديات، كبيرة أو صغيرة، فكل قصة تستحق أن تُسمع
نريد أن نخلق مساحة تُسمع فيها الأصوات السودانية، وتُروى فيها القصص، وتُكرَّم فيها التجارب، سواء كانت من الماضي أو الحاضر
لا حاجة لأي خبرة سابقة في الفن أو التكنولوجيا – ستتعلم كل شيء أثناء المشاركة
