Magnificent Music Fundraiser Concert

Tue 11 November, 18:30
£100 Donation Ticket

Join us for a candlelit concert in support of the work of Grand Junction – a venue for community, arts, and heritage – and St Mary Magdalene’s – a spectacular Grade I Listed church

St Mary Magdalene’s is a working church and home to Grand Junction, a community, arts, and heritage centre run by Paddington Development Trust. Since 2019, we’ve welcomed over 140,000 visitors and support 180 local people each week through classes focused on wellbeing, training, and language learning.

This beautiful Grade I listed building is a privilege to run, but it also comes with a price tag as costs continue to rise. Together with St Mary Magdalene’s Church, we’re hosting a special fundraiser concert, with all proceeds helping to keep our doors open to all.

PROGRAMME:

Reception, 6.30pm: Fizz and Canapés
A rare opportunity to see the Victorian vestments and plate on display in Sir Ninian Comper’s glorious St Sepulchre Chapel

Concert: 7.30 – 9.00pm
Peregrine Voices conducted by Daniel Collins – Choral works
Jem Lowther and Oona Lowther – Organ and cello

Tickets: £100

To reserve your tickets please email Lucy at lucy@grandjunction.org.uk . We will then send you payment details. Any questions please call Grand Junction at St Mary Magdalene’s on 020 7266 8258.

ABOUT OUR WORK

St Mary Magdalene’s is a working church, with a committed congregation. Through an innovative partnership, the church is leased to local charity PDT Monday – Saturday, operating as Grand Junction, a community, arts, and heritage centre benefitting all.

We have welcomed over 140,000 visitors since opening in 2019, serving 180 local people each week through classes and courses. We focus on wellbeing through the arts, routes back into training and employment, and language learning.

It is a privilege to deliver this from the beautiful Grade I Listed St Mary Magdalene’s, but it also comes with a price tag as costs spiral. Please help us raise vital funds to keep the doors open for all.
