Classical pianist and composer takes to the Grand Junction stage to perform his new album ‘The Heart Is An Empty Vessel’ – set to be released on the 28 March.
Karim Kamar is a contemporary classical pianist and composer from London. He has produced and created music of many different styles for various artists.
His main focus is on the creation of relaxing New Age solo piano music, with stylings similar to Ryuichi Sakamoto, Ludovico Einaudi and Yann Tiersen. He has been a solo pianist since 2013 and has performed at almost every major music venue in London, including The Jazz Cafe, The Forge, Ronnie Scotts and The Royal Albert Hall. Along with spoken word poet Anthony Anaxagorou, he runs a monthly live music night at the Southbank Centre called ‘Out-Spoken’, showcasing poetry recitals and new music.
Karim’s new album ‘The Heart Is An Empty Vessel’ will be released on Piano Day – 28 March – on RISE.
