Eliza Marshall
Breaking boundaries though creativity has always been at the core of flautist Eliza’s music making, with a particular love of the music from Scotland and Africa, Steve Reich and Paul Simon. A catalyst for positive change, her work is inspired by nature and driven by a deep desire for compassion and a connected humanity.
Renowned for her work with the award-winning folk group Ranagri, Eliza is also an in-demand session player contributing to records by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, First Aid Kit, Florence & The Machine and The White Stripes. She was a member of Peter Gabriel’s New Blood Orchestra and also appears on his current album i/o. She is founder and Artistic Director of the multi-media-production Freedom To Roam – awarded 5* reviews from Morning Star, 4* from Songlines and standing ovations around the UK.
Join Eliza as she releases her debut album Eternal Birth this September, celebrating the cycle of life, mother in earth, and our eternal nurture through nature.
