Eco Minds: An introduction to Architecture for young people

FREE

An 8 week creative and practical programme delivered by professional architects from Architecture for Kids CIC and youth facilitators.

EcoMinds is an exciting retrofit design challenge where young people aged 12–16 work with architects and other professionals to reimagine St Mary Magdalene’s at Grand Junction for a greener, healthier future. Through hands‑on workshops, site visits, and creative activities, participants explore real sustainability solutions and build practical design and environmental skills. The project also offers the opportunity to become an EcoMinds Youth Ambassador—a small leadership group that continues beyond the workshops, sharing ideas, supporting community events, and helping shape local climate action.

EcoMinds is a collaborative initiative between Antonio Capelao, Founder of Architecture for Kids CIC, Gonçalo Baptista, Director of Pinzauer, and Grand Junction, funded by the Westminster Climate Fund at City of Westminster.

Wednesdays, 22 April – 17 June 2026, 16:00 – 18:00

For young people aged 12-16, no experience necessary.

Kindly note that this is not a drop in project, please sign up to the eight weeks via the button below.
