Free to attend, just turn up!
Join us for the launch of our interactive Digital Guide to our spectacular Grade I listed building.
Over the past year, the Grand Junction team and a group of dedicated local heritage volunteers have worked closely with Bristol-based company Zubr, an international augmented and virtual reality studio, our volunteer team have provided key ideas for interactive elements, AR and audio that will bring the church and its local history to life.
Hear from historical figures such as the church’s renowned architect G. E. Street, explore archival footage showing the area before the Victorian terraces were demolished in the mid-twentieth century, and more!
Join us during Grand Junction’s Open House Festival open day on Saturday 20 September and experience the story of the building like never before. Devices will be available on the day to try the guide, or you can use your own.
And if you have time, why not finish your visit with a coffee or bite to eat in our canal-side café?
All of our guided heritage tours are free. With your support, we can continue sharing the history of our Grade I listed building and the local area, ensuring they remain accessible for all.
