Join The City Academy Songbirds for an evening to celebrate life, death and everything in between.

This Christmas we are excited to be singing the first ever performance of a brand new Requiem Mass written by choir leader Katherine Hare, followed by an explosion of Christmas fun including carols, musical theatre ghosts and muppets! We look forward to seeing you there.

The Songbirds are City Academy’s longest-running and only all-female choir – a powerhouse of music, community, and performance. With a repertoire spanning Pop, Gospel, Musical Theatre, Folk, Acappella, and Classical, this choir celebrates female voices and empowers singers to shine both on and off the stage.

PLEASE NOTE: Grand Junction is based in St Mary Magdalene’s church, and while it is a stunning grade 1 listed neo-Gothic building, during the winter months it can get cold, so we recommend wearing layers.

Food: Grand Junction Cafe will be open before the concert from 6pm. We’ll be serving our regular café menu, including sandwiches, light bites and hot drinks – check out the menu here.
