Burns Night Ceilidh

Fri 24 January, 18:30
£18 - £25

FRI 24 & SAT 25 JANUARY

Join us for a glorious evening of ceilidh dancing in celebration of Scotland’s favourite son, Robert Burns!

Don the tartan and tam o’shanters, sip some whisky and get ready to shake those floors. We’re paying homage to ol’ Rabbie Burns in a rowdy, rebellious evening of song and dance!

Our very own house band, the Ceilidh Liberation Front, will provide the soundtrack and guide you through the evening. Bring your squeeze, bring your kilt, bring your granny, and don’t forget your dancing shoes.

All are welcome at this event – groups, pairs or solo bookings. A delicious haggis dinner (with veggie alternative) will be available to buy on the night and we’ll have a full whisky bar too.

The Nest Collective invites you to celebrate Scotland’s finest in style.

Open to dancers of all abilities (no experience necessary!)

“Sweat-busting abandon, subverted dances and party tunes”

Time Out

“Taking the traditional ceilidh as its starting point, but ripping up the rule book, souping up the music and subverting the dance moves. No experience is necessary”

Open to dancers of all abilities (no experience necessary!)

Dress code: Grand Junction has a no-heels policy for this event. Other than that, there is no strict dress code. Come as splendid as you like!

The Ceilidh Liberation Front is London’s most radical & colourful live band, subverting the lore of Ceilidh with their energetic folk dance regime. They breathe vigour and vitality into the traditional ceilidh, whilst honouring its roots and traditions.

Our audiences say:
